Not Meant Unkindly: Are You Getting It Yet?

This article is meant for those who are struggling with the realities that are so much in evidence at all points of the compass. No matter where we turn, the prophecies in God’s Word have become an ongoing reality.

“And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring” (Luke 21:25).

Whether you are a Christian believer, a so-called agnostic, a full-fledged atheist, or just have not had (perhaps up to now?) any interest in the Bible, it is impossible to miss the turmoil and upheaval over the entirety of the world today.

It has reached the point where, no matter what your present position relative to the reality of God is, these events cannot be dismissed out of hand.

That is no longer possible.

I will briefly report a few of the many key events that must be acknowledged that may put the need to address your own future, your eternal future, on the front burner of your life.

This list, as you will no doubt notice, is nowhere near to describing the totality of the current state of America, and even the entirety of global conditions.

Have you noticed anything disturbing going on these days?

Lawlessness.

Control of All Business and Manufacturing.

The Implementation of Total Control.

The Invasion of America and its inevitable destruction.

Corruption in Government

Oh yes I have noticed it. These times have has this Twilight Zone feel like we're in some alternate reality that makes no sense. Yet it is all too real! So close to the midnight of the Age Of Grace, I think it's no accident that Revelation 12:12 says this

Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.

Interestingly when 2020 came and the world turned upsidedown by the "event" that caught everyone's attention, I think everyone knows what I mean, it wasn't so much that specific "event" that got my attention, but in my observation what stood out to me the most, and I pointed out back then, it was the major change in people.

An increase of violence towards innocent bystanders became the norm, as in one situation I saw on the news an elderly person walking on the sidewalk was pushed into incoming traffic for no reason, and no accountability was done.

I noticed that is one sign of the last days became prevalent was "the love of many grew cold".

It was the first time that I began to quote Isaiah 5:20 often because of how it was apparent that the mindset of people shifted in ideology in every aspect contrary to the Bible's values. And as the past three years have passed, people have gone from bad to worse.

"(while evil people) and impostors will go on from bad to worse,"
2 Timothy 3:13

Yes indeed, the world seems to be swirling around and down the toilet bowl.

The signs I pay more attention to are in the middle east, watching the coalition slowly come together that will eventually try and attack Israel.
@Andy C - Could you fill us in on what you found out? I am not getting much news from the Middle EastAnd

Perfect description of what my wife and I sense. Yet our non Christian friends are not anywhere near that description, they sense something a little off... but are focused on human politics and not the spiritual war in the heavenlies.
"A little off" That's the understatement of the year!!

Wow! I didn't realize that there was something like the sudden change you saw. Thank you for pointing that out. Back in Colorado, I percieved a steady decline, and now that we're in Connecticut, things are very stable at least where we live.

In discussions with my husband, I suggested that in the war in Heaven spoken of in Revelation chapter 12, that satan's angels are losing the war gradually, with the weaker demonic troops falling to Earth first, followed by increasingly stronger, meaner demons as satan continues to lose ground up in Heaven. In my mind, this helps explain the increasing evil and delusion we're seeing in the last few years. Getting crazier faster too.

Some murders and attempted are happening in this city over a can of pop, someone asking a stranger for a cigarette who doesn't have (or not willing to give) and get taken out.
A believer friend of ours just lost their brother in law to a murder Friday. Not certain what happened but there were three involved in that. I think we had record murders last year. Most murders here happening in two or three particular sections of the city. And a fair bit of homelessness/encampments/bus shelter takeovers. Some of the people committing these crimes are quite young which is another sign of the times, as Rose mentioned, hearts growing cold.
