I esteemed Nikki Haley very highly when she was the UN ambassador.
But afterwards not so much. She turned out to be a turncoat. Several times.
Seems once again, power corrupts, and much power, corrups much.

She's still the only other GOP candidate technically in the race for the GOP nomination.
I still think RNC is keeping her in their hip pockets "just in case" President Trump can't run (for any reason), and that maybe she's being extra careful to toe the party line for her own political survival within the party
A lot of people voted for her as a message to President Trump about abortion (and the never-Trumpers)

That was an appropriate move for her. It won't help her in the future should she run again, at least not with the MAGA segment of the voting base. She's shown us what she's made of...
