New Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem to deliver address at 3 p.m.

Almost Heaven

Hezbollah announces that its newly appointed leader Naim Qassem will deliver his first address as secretary general today at 3 p.m. Israel time — one hour from now.

Qassem’s appointment was announced on Monday, following the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut last month and of his presumed successor Hashem Safieddine earlier this month.

My advice to the new leader would be not to bother setting up his new office, or hang his “I love me wall”. His job has a high turnover rate.
Agreed. Dead man walking!

Hezbollah's new secretary-general, Naim Qassem, said that he intended to follow in the footsteps of the terror organization's previous leader, Hassan Nasrallah, during his first televised speech as leader of the terror organization on Wednesday.

"My agenda is to follow Nasrallah's agenda in all aspects," Qassem said. "We will continue our war plan."

He continued, "We don't fight on behalf of anyone or for anyone's project, we fight for Lebanon. Iran supports our project and doesn't ask anything of us."

Qassem spoke of former Hezbollah leaders, Hassan Nasrallah, and Hashem Safieddine, who were killed in Israeli strikes in September and October. He also spoke of former Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, who was eliminated earlier in October in the Gaza Strip.

He called Sinwar "an icon of heroism and resistance for Palestine, and the free people of the world, died fighting to his last breath - steadfast, brave, faithful, righteous, honorable, and free."

New Hezbollah chief threatens Netanyahu

Hezbollah's newly appointed chief Naim Qassem threatened Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during his maiden speech Wednesday afternoon, saying that the UAV launched by Hezbollah hit his bedroom. “Netanyahu survived this time, but perhaps his time has not yet come,” he said. He added that “perhaps an Israeli will kill him, perhaps during one of his speeches.” “Our diplomatic contacts confirmed to us that Netanyahu is very afraid because we are targeting him," he also said.

OK so I saw this thread, and for starters began to wonder if he'd survive till 3 pm to make his speech. But reading further down I see he did, and as @Kaatje points out he prophesied his death- following in the footsteps of Nasrallah.

Now I shall await Israel's final word on the subject, it should be explosive!

Sayonara and buh bye Qassem, I won't even bother to remember your name, there simply isn't time for such foolishness.
