"never knew"

i like very few bands.... one of them is "The Rocket Summer." one-man band. he's made so many albums and i loved his music in high school... had NO clue that so many of his songs i liked, were referring to his love for Jesus!!! i couldnt see it, because it was often subtle, and it takes a knowing person to read between the lines. i think that was his way of not coming off as "preachy" to people like me, who would have stopped listening if id realized!!! mind-blown as an adult when i re-visited his songs... thinking of this one in particular today:
