NATO holds large Arctic exercises in Russia's backyard

Thousands of NATO soldiers are taking part in large-scale artillery exercises in Finland's Arctic this month, seen by some as a signal to neighbouring Russia over its war on Ukraine.

Sounds of cannon fire and rocket artillery echo across the snowy, hilly Lapland landscape as some 3,600 soldiers from the United States, Sweden, the United Kingdom, France and other NATO members conduct live fire drills throughout November.

They are part of NATO's largest artillery exercise ever held in Europe, dubbed Dynamic Front 25, which also includes drills in Estonia, Germany, Romania and Poland involving a total of around 5,000 soldiers.

I used to blame Russia for that... not so sure now.

Ultimately, I don't think Putin is bluffing. If his back is pushed to the wall, he will do what he may not want to do.

I don't think Putin wants to toss nukes at Britain and Germany/France and the Scandis.

I think he's trying to get the NATO Euros to wake up and quit poking his boundaries and get them to stop Biden from making things worse.

When and if they lob something nuclear at anywhere-- I expect it will land on Ukraine. Not Europe or Britain or the Scandis first- Just Ukraine. To show he can, and to end the war that is costing Russia so dearly.

AFTER that he will pause and see if the Euros and America (NATO) respond.

By then I expect Trump to be in power.

The reasons I say that

1- Putin isn't stupid and he doesn't actually want to go to all out war with the NATO alliance. His goals have been to stop NATO from encroaching on "his" territory which as he sees it includes Ukraine (and that is a key point because that is Magog central according to some of the ancient territorial maps)

2 - Rome 2.0 still has to have some territory in the Euro zone where ancient Rome still held sway and that would include Britain, France and Germany.

3- The Ezek 38&39 war includes Russia as Gog in charge of Magog (see point 1) and Russia is still able to launch an armed invasion of Israel so her armed forces have to recover from the Ukraine, and not be completely obliterated by a bunch of nukes tossed at her by the angry NATO response.

4- Since there is a population crash coming soon to Russia (and China) losing a bunch of army age males on the eve of Ezek 38 doesn't make sense.
