Saw this today and I am kind of surprised that nothing else has been newsworthy according to fake news who are much too busy roasting of President Trump, harping on Israelandpoor Gaza, or what other great ideas their guy in the White House ihas come up with….

They are calling some of them”earthquake swarms,” the most recent happening on the California/Mexico border.

I’m praying for our brothers and sisters there. Got to wonder if any of the nonbelievers give a second thought to this maybe being judgment from Almighty God? Most will attribute it to happening because it’s part of “global warming/climate change.”

I cant find any source to include the OP link that shows 1000 earthquakes in a week. CA typically averages 27 every day.

I used to follow the Cal Tech or the USGS earthquake activity daily for California and it reports multiple earthquakes daily in the state, but the majority can't be felt because they can be as small as 1+ on the Richter Scale.
There are multiple faults in California so that's why so many earthquakes.
Also we're in the Ring of Fire Zone where much seismic activity and volcanic activity takes place and Northern California is connected to the Cascadia Subduction Zone that has faults running from Northern California through Oregon and Washington State, on into Canada.
Close by where I live, the San Bernardino Valley College has a seismic laboratory there because we are on top of the San Andreas Fault.

The last big one I felt was in 2019 that centered in Ridgecrest at 7.1. That one was felt, lol.

We've been hearing "The Big One is coming" for years. It's over 50 years overdo.

I think California will have a Big One for sure during the Tribulation along with the world during the Judgement Bowls.

I guess I should have looked closer. I used to live in Petaluma and Earthquakes were pretty rare, but that’s been quite awhile back. I do recall vividly, how it feels as if the shaking won’t stop, even though the ones I recall were minor. I think the thing that bothered me most was the nuclear power station near Humboldt Bay that was sitting probably still is, on a major fault line.

The article caught my eye when it said 1,000 in a week, but that also included Nevada, and a lot of them could have been very slight. I did find this data:

I spent my first 19 years in Southern CA, and earthquakes were very common. We once had an approx 6.0, and it happened at the same time my mom would wake me up for school. I thought the shaking was her trying to wake me.

DH and I moved to NC after he decided to not reenlist in the Coast Guard. It was time for him to reenlist and they guaranteed him duty on an ice breaker that would be going around Alaska for at least a year, maybe longer, depending on the amount of ice in the shipping lanes. We moved here because raising a family in California would have been a big NO.

I remember them all saying that “sin-city” to them, that meant the whole state, was going to slide right into the ocean! I was really young and it kinda shocked me that they would think the whole place was like that. There are so many people there who are hardworking, some “red necks” but, hey, they’re everywhere! Where I grew up anyone would give you the shirt off their back. And that’s all gone now, thanks to liberal, glad handing politicians, movie stars, the rich and famous, a few really lousy governors. Whatever starts there as a fad or newest popular trend, good or bad, seems to start there and leak into the rest of America.
