Mexico is lucky it exists at all given the expansion of settlers over the land in those days.

The people of that country would've been much better off if the US had taken it all, and then down to the Choco jungle.

Can we give/cede California back to Mexico? A bunch of their citizens are there, anyway, and if they don't outnumber the U.S. citizens (yet), it shouldn't take too long

I’m glad that our border with Mexico is a lot smaller than it was, now it only El Rio Grande (the Grand River).
