JD Vance said the India-Pakistan conflict was ‘none of our business’ - until receiving ‘alarming intelligence’: report

TCC

Well-known

Vice President JD Vance was the one to call Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to encourage ceasefire talks over the escalating conflict with Pakistan after the U.S. received “alarming intelligence,” according to a report.

The vice president, Secretary of State and interim national security adviser Marco Rubio, and White House chief of staff Susie Wiles were compelled to increase America’s role in the conflict after receiving the intelligence Friday morning, CNN reports.

It marked a change of position for Vance, who said that the dangerous conflict between the two nuclear powers was “none of our business.”

. . . . .

This is also being touted as a Trump encouraged peacetime success...just saying...

This is a quote taken out of context. A typical left-leaning media tactic. And make no mistake, The Independent is definitely left-leaning. What the vice president was saying initially was that America was not going to get into the middle of this war but was going to use its influence to encourage both sides to de-escalate. And the alarming intelligence he received was before he made those statements, not after as this article suggests.

Good catch pastor. I guess i just get tired of having to search so hard for conservative publications. In my mind, it does not matter whether before or after. That is just me. I mean i could see it as Vance saying that before the intel they were staying out of it at this level. Hoping for the best. Pastor when i read leftist articles i kind of just look for what I am looking at knowing they will distort things all over the place. So in some ways i am kind of getting used to it i guess...lol. Which is not exactly healthy. Not that i am believing the left leans. But just seeing the things i want to post about. Knowing its story time at the troll table.

But its good we catch these things. I am not all that up on this story. Might the reason for your concern be the left trying to dumb society into thinking America should not get involved in stuff? Or what would you see as the motive for the left characterizing like they did though?

Nothing so lofty. I think it's was just an attempt to paint the vice president as being out of his depth. It betrays their contempt for Trump and his administration.

I agree. You can expect attacks to ramp up as we hit the 2 year mark. I expect the Rep. to run Vance and or Rubio for the next presidential ticket. So expect attacks on these guys. Who knows lots can happen, but I sense that is the way they are leaning at this moment.
