Israel said to heavily strike military targets on Syrian coast

Reports say Israeli strikes have targeted military sites in Syria’s coastal Tartus region, with a Syria war monitor calling them “the heaviest strikes” in the area in more than a decade.

“Israeli warplanes launched strikes” targeting a series of sites, including air defense units and “surface-to-surface missile depots,” says the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, in what it says were “the heaviest strikes in Syria’s coastal region since the start of strikes in 2012.”

Same story that Rose posted except this one is elaborating that they are thinking of mmigrating some Israelis to the Golan Heights ?

Including air defence units and “surface-to-surface missile depots”, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), in what it said were “the heaviest strikes in Syria’s coastal region since the start of strikes in 2012”.

US-based researcher Richard Cordaro posted to X saying the explosion was picked up as a 3.0 magnitude quake by a magnetometer station at Iznik, Turkiye located 820km from the last site.

I was hearing that Israel is hitting Syria with massive
airstrikes and that last major one took out and decimated weapons and artillery Warehouses that exploded to smithereens. 🤯
If Israel continues to do this kind of airstrikes in the Damascus vicinity and hit some critical storage facilities housing containing some major explosive content being stored there, like something nuclear? Maybe?
I wonder if that could wipe out Damascus. 💥💥💥 🤔
Just brain scrambling again 🤣

You're not alone in that line of thinking LOL

I wonder whether settling Israeli citizens on the Golan Heights is also enough of the redflag to get the Ez coalition gathering together more frequently before the final thought is spoil ?
I've been hearing that Russia is hurting financially. The ongoing war with Ukraine is wiping them out of resources. Then add that over the war in Ukraine and NATO's involvement now with permitting the use of missiles that have been supplied to Ukraine, Russia has halted supplying natural gas to many in the European Union that have been dependent on Russia for it. Russia's arrogance in getting back at NATO by halting the inport of Natural gas has hurt Russia financially as well.
I think this self inflicted wound will get Russia desperate for securing it's economy and that may be the motivating factor that puts the thought of invading Israel for their spoil.

@Spartan Sprinter
This recent article expands on Russian economy in trouble...

A key pillar of Russia's wartime economy could soon be taking another hit

On Wednesday, the Treasury secretary, Janet Yellen, signaled that the US was eyeing new restrictions on Russian energy exports, which have been a key revenue source for the Kremlin's war chest.

I still think the US and Canada are the land of unwalled villages, and that the words "at the same time" indicate a parenthesis in Ezekiel 38:10-13, so that Gog invades someplace else at the same time it's heading into Israel, and that's why the young lions, etc. ask Gog about taking a spoil. North America used to be sparsely populated, the populations of the US and Canada have come from many nations, and simply by virtue of having the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans east and west of us, we dwell in great safety from foreign nation attack, and in villages, towns, and cities, which don't have bars or gates. No other country dwells so securely that they don't have physical barricades/barriers around their villages, towns, and cities. And we have certainly gotten cattle and goods. We're probably the wealthiest countries ever on the face of the earth.

Across the Arctic and/or Bearing Strait makes the US and Canada close neighbors of Gog.

And I'm still wondering where Gog/USSR professional troops are :tap:

Further, the midst of the land is stated, so I wonder if the midwest is what would be targeted? Through Hudson Bay and south, staying west of Lake Superior, and straight through North Dakota/Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. The huge amount of agricultural, technological, medical, and energy assets/resources, and the terrain is pretty easy to traverse, except in winter in the north and when floods hit. Even so, I29, I94, I35, etc. are well-built, have excellent support/services/infrastructure, and an invading force could cut the US in half in less than a day.

I'm far less familiar with Canadian N-S routes, so maybe the Windsor-Detroit crossing, but then there's so much traffic in the US coming south and west from there. I think better to stay west of the Great Lakes if agriculture (food) and maybe medicine is what Gog/USSR would be after.

Invasion day would be a good day for protestors to hit the Interstates, and for a massive, slow, exceptionally congested, rush hour

10 Thus saith the Lord God; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

  :amen: :amen: :thankyou: :thankyou:

You mean the ones that expected to walk into Kiev and annex Ukraine? Your expectations of Russia's professional troops may be a little high.
yeah i watched a documentary about their recent military and what they were saying about them was that they were clumsy with stuff like friendly fire and not as intimidating as their reputation suggests , it's only really their nuclear arsonry that is really to be feared and that's it ?

The things their troops have to go through creates horrible morale and prevents esprit de corps.
