iOS 17.5 is now available: Here’s everything you need to know

New Pride wallpaper

iOS 17.5 also includes a new Pride Collection of wallpapers for iPhone and iPad users, as is tradition. The new dynamic wallpapers come as part of Apple’s goal to “champion global movements to protect and advance equality for LGBTQ+ communities.”

watchOS 10.5 also includes a new Pride watch face, and there’s an Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop available for Apple Watch as well.

**🤮

I've got an old MAC (Apple) laptop and have tossed around the idea that I may need to replace it. I was moving towards a Windows product, until I saw the direction they are going in:
"SEATTLE, May 20 (Reuters) - Microsoft (MSFT.O), opens new tab on Monday debuted a new category of personal computers with AI features as it rushes to build the emerging technology into products across its business and compete with Alphabet (GOOGL.O), opens new tab and Apple (AAPL.O), opens new tab."

Basically, they are competing with Apple's Cloud data backup by using AI to build screenshots and data usage/websites visited to give a personal touch on your personal laptop, organized & stored by AI, and you needn't worry, because it happens unaware to you, in the background.

Creepy

There have been some work situations where I've had to use Apple products, but I've never really liked them. I'm a PC guy. I think that, overall, Windows is better than any Mac OS I have seen. Over the past 40 years or so I have used Basic, CP/M, and Windows. I have issues with Microsoft, but I'm too lazy to learn how to deal with Linux.

Windows is more intuitive than Apple OS. I used OS/2 for about a decade and loved it except for the reality that every once in a while there would be a glitch and I'd have to reinstall everything from scratch. I forget how many 3.5" floppies that was, but it was too many and would take an all nighter to get everything going again. I switched to Windows at ME and it was actually decent by that point and has been excellent for a long while now.
