HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Heavy police presence can be seen surrounding Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church after reports of an active shooter in southwest Houston on Sunday.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a possible shooting at the megachurch near the Southwest Freeway shortly after 2 p.m.

Anyone, who takes a child(ren) with him or her, when committing a crime, endangers the welfare of that child
Using people as human shields is despicable, but especially so when the human shield(s) is a child(ren)

Where I used to work, some people used to do this, thinking police wouldn't arrest them if they got caught. What happened instead was arrest was guaranteed, even for minor stuff (instead of a summons), they ended up with extra charge(s), including Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and often, the child(ren) ended up going to Child Protective/Family Services

I'm no fan of Joel Osteen but this is sickening. Nobody should have to be afraid of being shot while sitting in church/synagogue etc. It's become so common.

I'm so glad some off duty officers shot her to death. They saved countless lives. Regardless of her motives, she won't harm anyone else.

Praying for the survival and health of the child she brought with her.

As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, a female shooter walked inside Joel Osteen’s Houston Lakewood megachurch and opened fire on Sunday.

The female shooter, who has yet to be identified, wore a trench coat and was armed with a rifle as she walked into the church alongside a five-year-old boy.

Now, ABC 13 News has reported the woman’s gun that was used in the shooting had a pro-Palestinian message on it.The details regarding the message have yet to be released.

Female shooter Genesse Moreno at Joel Osteen's megachurch is 'schizophrenic, Munchausen-by-proxy' who LEGALLY purchased AR-15 despite being known to cops for mental illness.

They also revealed they found anti-Semitic writings and that Moreno appeared to have issues with Jewish relatives

'We do believe that there was a familial dispute that has taken place between her ex-husband and her ex-husband's family, some of whom are Jewish,' police said in a press conference.

Moreno used several identities under both genders and it's unclear what gender she identified as. However, police said on Monday she is believed to be the biological mother of the seven-year-old she brought into the church with her.

Oh. I had heard this person was actually a man that identifies as a woman.

Hard to know lately, because the news media is starting to refer to an individual as a woman and “she” whether or not they are actually male biologically, and don’t even mention that they are “trans.”

He has been acting like a phony for so long the man doesn’t know how to be real even during a traumatic situation.
