I have no formatting toolbar

I faintly see the format Icon’s, but they are not activated.

Towards the right side click on [ ] "toggle BB code". That should fix you right up and if I've earned a smiley you can give me one!

I see [ ], but there is nothing active to the left of that, but a fain icon.

click on [ ] "toggle BB code" and your icons will be activated again.
