How Hamas Is Planning to Deceive the Trump Administration

Almost Heaven

Well-known
Did Hamas lie to US President Donald J. Trump when it said that it had accepted his 20-point plan for ending its war against Israel in the Gaza Strip? Or is the terror group simply trying to buy time to reassert control over the Gaza Strip and prepare for more terror attacks against Israel? Yes and yes. Hamas lied. Hamas is trying to gain time by arguing that it needs to engage in negotiations and discussions about the implementation of most parts of the Trump plan.

Since the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip went into effect in early October, Hamas officials have repeatedly emphasized that they did not accept all the points mentioned in the Trump plan.

According to these officials, Hamas only agreed to the first phase of the Trump plan, which calls for Israel to suspend military operations and release Palestinian prisoners, and for Hamas to return all Israeli hostages, dead and alive, within 72 hours. It has been weeks, and Hamas has not yet fulfilled that phase-one obligation.

Hamas official Osama Hamdan affirmed on November 10 that his group did not accept all the 20 points of Trump's plan.

They always seem to do that. It works for them.

Agree, say they didn't agree fully or split hairs or outright lie, do something nasty, then demand the benefits of the agreement they immediately broke. Rinse and repeat.

When are we going to learn????
Israel can't win no matter what they do in terms of appeasing the world, they're pretty much hated either way.

So why not just blow their enemies to smitherines no holds bar as they'll cop backlash either way

Lucy is holding the football for Charlie Brown again. Sometimes I think Trump is being naive about the hatred involved in Gaza. They don't want safety, security, food, and good jobs. They want death to Israel and are willing to forego the above if Israel is being fought in the process. Recent polling in Gaza shows the citizens still support Hamas for their government.

There is a reason Israel’s neighbors are not mentioned in EZ 38-39, and Hamas may play games now, but they will soon find out why they wont be considered a threat.
YES!

That is one reason why I'm interested by the fact that at the time of Ez 38-39 Israel is at home on the mountains of Israel -which are the spine running north south just up from the Jordan River valley, on the "west bank" of the Jordan River.

Much of that spine is the "West Bank" area of Judea and Samaria in the news all the time.

Yet somehow they live there without walls bars or gates. In peace and security. Not worrying about attacks from the Palestinian towns around them. Like they have to worry about today.

Something has got to give with regards to the Hamas terrorists of Gaza and the Palestinian Authority terrorists of the so called West Bank. Because there is no way they'd sit idly by while Iran and Russia and Turkey invade with the rest of the gang.

Something happens to take them out or reduce them to a zero threat.

Plus Iran doesn't like to go in directly, they use proxies whenever they can - they use Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthis, and anyone else they can persuade.

Yet in Ezek 38-39 Iran goes in directly which suggests they ran out of their useful idiots as a proxy army.

Trump does not seem to understand the ideology of Islam. He still thinks that prosperity will woo them from their warlike ways. If that were so, Qatar, the richest Islamic state in the Middle East, would be a model of reconciliation. But as Michele Bachman recently pointed out, Qatar (and Turkey) are the sponsors of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.
