1LoverofGod
Well-known
Lately I have had my spirit in focus on The Love of God.
It's like every day it's in my heart to express God's Love towards us and The Great impact His Love puts into our faith because God is The Only One Who demonstrates His Love like no one else can and His immeasurable and unmatchable Love should encourage us in believing that everything God has promised will be Done and Trust that God will not go back on His Word as His Word tells us,
“God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"
Numbers 23:19
So,
God is Love 1 John 4:8.
The Lord is The Same yesterday, today and forever.
Hebrews 13:8
We are God's children. He made us His children because we have placed our faith in His Son Jesus Who paid the ransom in our behalf to take away our sins by His righteous shed blood that has redeemed us and reconciled is to God, and that made us Children of God.
"For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life."
Romans 5:10
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name
John 1:12
Even as children of A Loving God, in this temporary life we will be faced with troubles and afflictions.
At times troubles may mount up and feel weighty and has potential to consume us.
But God.....
22 "Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed,
Because His compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I hope in Him!”
Lamentations 3:22-24
Praise God for that!
It's so comforting knowing where our Help comes from.
And that Help is Always there for us.
"I will lift up my eyes to the hills—
From whence comes my help?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth."
Psalm 121:1-2
"God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble."
Psalm 46:1
The Lord is Always with us and will Always be as promised.
"....I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Amen."
Matthew 28:20b
Amen means So be it.
Even when we are having troubles, God takes Action in our behalf.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you"
Isaiah 43:2
It's important to understand that while we are in this temporary state of imperfections and this world lays in the hand of the wicked one, we will have troubles and have afflictions, But God encourages us with assurance that He will help us get through and no matter what, we are more than conquerors and nothing can ever separate us from The Love Of God.
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,"
1 Peter 1:6-7
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:35, 37-39
Yes, while in this temporary life, it will have it's challenges but when we are confronted with them we cannot let them be obstacles in our race towards our Prize in our eternal inheritance. We must seek God and take His Help as He outlines in His Word and Trust in His Divine intervention when it gets too much weight for us to carry and be determined to keep our eyes fixed on our finisher of our Faith, Jesus, who Is Coming and He will not tarry.
We have a Promised Hope, and we want to firmly hold on to our Hope as our incentive to keep in the race to eternity believing in whole hearted Trust that He Who has Promised will fulfill that Promise knowing that God is Faithful and True to His Word. God Does Love us. He will keep His Promise and Jesus is coming for us, and Sooner than we think.
Keep looking up!
