The world is going/has gone crazy. I can picture Believers having to move from where they're currently living to another state that is safer, at least for the moment... but eventually there'll probably be no place that'll be remotely safe for life or children.
I don't think you can get away from the fact that our world, our current system is circling the drain. Faster and faster seeming.
I don't see political solutions working long term. Or any solutions other than getting as many people saved as possible.
By all means do what we can politically, that is a good effort, lines up with being salt and light to preserve, to restrain evil and pray for those efforts!
--But political action is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, it's more important to get people into the lifeboats.
I saw a film on 911 today, it wasn't about that, but they put it into the final moments and the hero died in the twin towers. He wasn't a Christian obviously, and he was a fictional character. Hollywood's attempt at comfort or salvation in this was that he quoted Ghandi and embraced philosophy and tried to be a good person.
People just like him multiplied in the billions. Catapulted into eternal damnation without any more time. Suddenly. Like Lot and Noah's neighbours, figuring it was just another ordinary New York morning. And time was UP!
I was hit one more time with the reality that what matters most is getting as many as possible saved and into the lifeboats before the Rapture because after that, 911 will be multiplied in horrific numbers.
God is issuing warning after warning to the world thru these situations. Very few are listening.
This is one of the signposts. The love of many grows cold.
When compassion for the elderly, the infants, the inconvenient people turns into murder this is a big sign. And it's the medical profession doing it, the ones who swore to uphold life, to heal, not to murder. We began with abortion and this is where it goes.
One day time's up. We go up. And sudden destruction is upon them. Like Noah, like Lot- their neighbours didn't have a clue. They thought the world would go on as it always did. They never woke up that day figuring it's their last, but it was. Like that fictional movie character spouting Ghandi, trusting in his good works to make his life meaningful and ultimately save him, and dying in the Twin Towers. Catapulted into hell.
Matt 24:36-39
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah
were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Luke 17:26-29
26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:
27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed
them all.
The point in both these texts is the sudden nature of the destruction that comes upon them.
Like 1 Thess 5:3
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
