Ok so I'm doing the online banking (did a grocery order for Tuesday) etc and thought it was time to clean out the email inbox.
In my Spam folder where it belongs was this gem. I copied and pasted it in here- before I trash it permanently
"Maria, we have an important question for you:
Is there anything we can say to convince you to contribute to Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign today? (answer NOPE)
What if we told you that the latest polls show this race statistically tied? (bwahahaha, Trumps ahead!!!)
What if we told you that Trump’s campaign raised $138 million last month -- and that he and his allies are outspending us in key battleground states? (I sure hope he's ahead)
And what if we told you that while Trump relies on his billionaire buddies to fund his campaign, almost all of our donations come from emails like this? (errrr, I guess you conveniantly forgot about George Soros, most of the Hollyweird elite, Oprah, Taylor Swift and others)
This is the moment when we need grassroots supporters like you to chip in your first $25 donation. (not in this lifetime!)
Your Vice President is asking, Maria." (MY" Vice President huh?????)
Then they suggest I might like to donate at LEAST $25, and hopefully upwards to $500 or more depending on my level of desperation I suppose. With buttons to press to donate automatically "If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:"
Isn't it illegal for American candidates to solicit foreign contributions??????
It's probably just a scam to skim from desperate Dems. Or it really is the desperate Dimbulb Dem candidate for November doing her best to score the Canadian vote!
Maybe she doesn't realize there really is a border, and Canada IS a separate country!
My inner Maria is a Trump loving, Maga hat wearing, freedom loving woman who unfortunately abides by the law so I WON'T go south to vote in your elections, nor will I donate to any political campaign south of my borders.
My inner Maria doesn't approve of soliciting foreign donations (or foreign votes) for an AMERICAN election.
