"War cabinet minister Benny Gantz told US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Monday that the uptick in attacks by Hezbollah will require a firm Israeli response, as rocket fire by the Lebanese terror group continued to target towns on Israel’s northern border.
“Gantz stated that heightened aggression and increased attacks by Iranian-backed Hezbollah demand of Israel to remove such a threat to the civilian population of northern Israel,” according to an Israeli readout.
Gantz added that “the international community currently has an important role to play, and it must act to ensure that the state of Lebanon stops such aggression along its border,” the statement said."
Yesterday I was listening to a Bill Salus interview by Mondo Gonzales in which Bill was discussing the increasing problem of Hezbollah. (He wrote the book on Psalm 83)
Israel promised the northern cities that have been evacuated since the beginning of the war that they will take care of the Hezbollah problem first, before anyone goes back home so they don't face another October 6 situation.
That means Israel will turn to face Lebanon and Hezbollah soon and one of the things Israel said (Bill was quoting and I remember this distinctly) was that if Hezbollah were to go into all out attack on Israel's northern borders that Israel would eliminate them and.....
....Damascus. Because the 2 are linked via Iran who is behind all this. Then they will turn to deal with Iran. At least that is what Naftali Bennett (former PM of Israel, in between Bibi's terms) said. Gantz was his side kick and very close to Bennett and Lapid who shared leadership responsibilities.
The more Hezbollah sends in missiles like this, the greater the chance this could quickly escalate to a very serious war with Lebanon's Hezbollah. And the destruction of Damascus isn't too far distant in that situation if Israel follows thru.
Anything could happen, God is in control and all of this goes according to HIS timetable, not the enemy, not Iran and not even Israel's timetable of events.
Bill was quickly giving an overview of the many scriptures that might be in play very very soon including Jeremiah 49, and Isaiah 17.
I thought it was interesting.
