Hamas signals it will release three hostages as Israel vows maximum pressure

Senior Hamas spokesperson Sami Abu Zuhri spoke to Al Jazeera on Wednesday evening and stated that Hamas is "committed" to implementing the previously agreed schedule of the hostage deal and that they will not release "all" Israeli hostages on Saturday.

Abu Zuhri's comments likely came as part of a larger statement to Al Jazeera regarding Hamas's views towards the potential breakdown of the ceasefire agreement.

Earlier on Wednesday, Defense Minister Israel Katz warned that if Hamas does not release the Israeli hostages by Saturday, all hell will break loose.

This referenced US President Donald Trump when he said, "If all the Gaza hostages aren't returned by Saturday at 12 p.m., I would say cancel the ceasefire. Let all hell break loose; Israel can override it," on Tuesday.

Given Abu Zuhri's statement that Hamas remains "committed" to the original hostage release schedule, it is likely that they intend to follow through with releasing three Israeli hostages.

Hamas is testing Trump.
Islam is very Prideful and Arrogant. They're willing to die for their ideology that Israel must not exist.
This is going to be an interesting watch for Saturday when All of the hostage have been demanded to be released or as Trump put it
"All hell will break loose"

Trump is fed up with them playing games and they will continue to play games as long as they have hostages. They don't want to give up that ability. I guess we'll see what President Trump does after Saturday if they do not release all hostages.

Thing is, Trump can't back down.
If he were to do that, he would be the risee of the world. And he knows it.
Just like the thing with Mexico. And he got what he wanted pronto.

So, I think Trump has a few surprises in store for Saturday, if Hamas doesn't bow.
