Hamas agrees to Qatari-mediated deal to release 50 hostages

Almost Heaven

Well-known
About a fifth of the hostages abducted from Israel could be part of a deal that would see a 3-day ceasefire and the release of Palestinian detainees

Hamas agreed to release 50 civilian hostages abducted from Israel on October 7, an official briefed on the Qatari mediated negotiations told Reuters.

This could potentially be the largest advancement in the negotiations for the hostages held by the terrorist organization, which has only seen four abductees released.

The deal would include a three-day ceasefire and an undisclosed amount of Palestinian women and youth detained by Israel, as well as an increase of humanitarian aid into Gaza, the official told Reuters.

Notice the report did not say Israel agreed. I don't see them doing a 3 day cease fire.
Common with these types of negotiations is a condition added that would immediately end the cease fire, and military action resumes. That condition would be all military assets remain in place, and any observation of attempts of the terrorists to resupply, or bring in additional fighters would break the agreement.

I think the only reason Hamas is agreeing to this is because they think there is a way to use the ceasefire to put in more bombs and traps, and to restock their supplies. I have already seen videos of Hamas going to the supply trucks that were delivering supplies to the people there and stealing all of them. They were shooting and killing any civilians that were trying to get food and things for themselves and their families.

I've been thinking, with the IDF now finding murdered hostages in Gaza,
are there maybe just 50 hostages left for Hamas to negotiate with?

Praying for the release of all the remaining hostages.
