Scripture Focus: Proverbs 4:23
God is not impressed by outward actions when the heart is untouched. He desires truth in the inward parts. When we give Him our heart, we give Him access to everything else—our thoughts, decisions, desires, and future.
As a believer in Christ, this is an invitation to intentional surrender. Not partial commitment. Not delayed obedience. But a heart enthroned by Christ. Confession alone is not enough, but a total surrender and yielding to him.
Reflection Questions
Have I truly given God my heart or only my activities?
What thoughts or motives need repentance?
Is God seated on the throne of my heart?
