French prez Emmanuel Macron sets emergency summit for European leaders

French President Emmanuel Macron has summoned Europe’s leaders to Paris on Monday for an emergency summit, where President Trump will be on the agenda

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski revealed Macron’s plans while attending the Munich Security Conference Saturday, Politico reported.

“I’m very glad that President Macron has called our leaders to Paris,” Sikorski said, adding he expects the European leaders to discuss, “in a very serious fashion,” the new Trump administration.

Two positives, if they kick the US out of NATO, or dissolve NATO in favor of a European Army, etc., that's a whole bunch of money saved, and it keeps the US from potentially having to pick between Turkey and Israel.

FWIW, it could keep the US out of the Gog coalition and could free the US to aid persecuted Jewish people and Christians in places the US cannot now, due to treaty obligations and other agreements with NATO countries.

I doubt, at least for now, the thought of kicking the US out of NATO will even be considered. You dont kick your best fighter out of the “fight club” over disagreements….

They would have to dissolve NATO and create something else to get the US out. I don't know what the governing documents state, but there is a good chance that they would need the USA's permission to dissolve NATO, which I think Trump would grant.

I would absolutely love to see the US military configured to protect the USA. Right now we're configured to protect any other country in the world with the exception of ourselves. Our govmint and military leaders must believe that no country would be fool enough to attack us on our shores so we are not prepared for that (which makes it the perfect way to attack the USA). There are probably enough enemy combatants/terrorists in the USA right now to over run the majority of our military installations which are hardly protected at all. It would only take a relatively small group to infiltrate each installation and destroy some/all of the military assets like fighter jets/tankers, tanks, armored personnel carriers, anti-missile systems, etc.

There is no equal to the USA in terms of force projection to any square inch of the world. Next to the USA, other countries are like gnats when it comes to the USA's force projection abilities. I think the leader of China understands this, and despite China's massive military buildup, they are still kept in check by the USA because China knows it would be crushed if the USA decided to stop something that China is doing, like attempting to take Taiwan, for example.
