Free Gift

Goodboy

Just waiting for the Rapture at this point!
Free Gift

Let's just use some simple logic.

If I give you my car as a FREE GIFT and you accept it, then the title will be transferred from me to you and you will now own the car. Maybe later I decide I don't like how you are treating the car I gave you and I decide to take it back and then I do. You can now call the police and have me arrested, as the car is no longer mine and I have stolen your car!

If God says that salvation is a FREE GIFT and requires anything else other than acceptance, then there are only two choices. Either God does not use the logic that he himself created, or he is not being honest with us.

How does the statement that you must WORK to attain a FREE GIFT make any sense? There is no honest person on earth who would expect you to work for a free gift. Is God less honest than we are?

Romans 5:15 - But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many
Romans 5:16 - And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
