EU suspends all economic aid to Israel

Almost Heaven

Well-known
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced Wednesday that the European Union is halting all financial assistance to Israel and is preparing a series of punitive measures against it in response to the ongoing war in Gaza.

According to von der Leyen's statement, delivered during her State of the Union address in the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the EU will suspend all financial support to the State of Israel, with the exception of funding directed to civil society organizations and for Yad Vashem, Israel's Holocaust memorial and research center.

If you look up the word "hypocrisy" in your dictionary,
you're sure to find the picture of ms von der Leyden.

She wants to sanction everything Israeli, except Yad Vashem?
Why? Because she wants to acknowledge the deaths and pain of Jews in WW2?
How about the Jews that are slaughtered daily, in Israel and abroad?
And where is her compassion for the hostages?
Are they supposed to let any terrorist abuse and kill them, and not retaliate, ever?
:gah::headbang:

If any of the nations in the EU were attacked the way Israel is attacked on almost a daily basis there would be calls for all out war.

Israel Derangement Syndrome!

At the gym, normally my gym partner is semi sympathetic to Israel. Today she is not. NONE of the Christians I know in real life around me are sympathetic to Israel except my daughter, my son and their spouses. I'm not sure about my son in law. My friend Tina and her husband are sympathetic to Israel.

It is sweeping thru groups that used to stand for Israel automatically.

It is so infectious that it has to be some kind of delusion, some spiritual attack.

also Antonio Guitarries or however you spell that Chupa chups name

Ursula von der Leyden and the EU are going to be hit by this, just as Macron in France was hit.

God will deal with them and the UN for what they are trying to do to Israel this fall.

And everyone else who comes against Israel.

Israel is going to come out of this with more land, better resources and I think a position of peace for the first time ever.

I think the EU is in for a rough ride.

This was on Amir's Telegram:

This evening, Poland is deploying 40,000 soldiers along its border with Belarus and Russia’s Kaliningrad enclave.

Tomorrow, a massive joint military exercise of the Russian and Belarusian armies, “Zapad 2025,” will begin, simulating the conquest of Poland with tens of thousands of soldiers and nuclear missiles.

Europe’s concern: as with Ukraine, there will be one drill, then another, and when the West dismisses them, the invasion will come.

I'd heard of the Zapad 2025 thing happening. This is exactly the sort of war gaming that Russia did before Crimea, and before the invasion of Ukraine. It's all "military exercises" until it isn't.

Amir latest reports on his Telegram:
Reports indicate Iranian unarmed missile launcher movements in Isfahan, Khuzestan, Ilam, and Semnan.

and

Prime minister Netanyahu had to cut short his attendance at a ceremony and was rushed to the government district in Jerusalem for “an urgent issue”.
