eSword App on Android Problem with Setting Up Memory Verses

I've tried to set up memory verses in the eSword app on my Android, but they don't "stick." The app instructions/user guide doesn't help/solve the problem.

Anyone else have this issue and what did you do to fix it?
Anyone else have this app on Android and successfully get this function to work? How did you do it?
