IRGC chief Hossein Salami issued new threats to Israel on Thursday, warning the country, "Don't count on THAAD," Saudi media site Al-Hadath reported.

The comments come as Iran awaits Israeli retaliation for Iran's aerial attack earlier this month.

"Every time you fire a projectile, we will fire more than you," he reportedly said.

The US military has rushed its advanced anti-missile system to Israel, and it is now "in place," US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said on Monday.

I dunno if that was the reason fully. I wonder if there's other stuff - slow walking weapons for Israel or the need to nail down Hezbollah more firmly before really opening up the big can of worms.

SALAMI IS CORRECT and telling the truth. The THAAD system CANNOT overcome the IRANIAN glide hypersonic missiles that CAN EVADE the USA THAAD air defense system. (Iran has a hypersonic missile that can reach Tel Aviv in 400 seconds or 6.66 minutes.)

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps chief Hossein Salami warns that an advanced US missile defense system recently stationed in Israel won’t be able to ward off future attacks from Tehran.

"Just as the Arrow anti-missile systems did not work during Operation True Promise 2, the THAAD systems will not work either. Do not rely on THAAD, they have limited capabilities,” Salami is quoted as saying.

Iran has dubbed its October 1 ballistic missile attack on Israel “Operation True Promise 2,” following its April attack that it called “Operation True Promise 1.”

“You cannot win this conflict, we will destroy you,” as Salami threatens Israel.

The Iranian hypersonic Kheibar Shekan-2 can evade THAAD with ease. Even Iran’s older Kheibar Shekan-1 has a very credible chance of defeating the THAAD system. These 2 models are what Iran has the most of. Iran has HUNDREDS of these missiles currently.

Just These 2 types of advanced ballistic missile systems can evade THAAD defensive system and find its' target as the video suggests.

Hypersonic missiles travel at speeds over Mach 5 making them incredibly fast and VERY hard to intercept. With high maneuverability and low altitude flight paths,they can evade most current defense systems INCLUDING THAAD.

Iran’s KS-2 can fly below the effective engagement envelope of the THAAD ballistic-missile-defense system.

Israel WILL one day BE IN BIG TROUBLE.

Just my opinion but I think the Iranian missile capability has been exaggerated and the THAAD system and other defensive weapons systems have been downplayed.

Lots of military misinformation is being leaked to the media.

I wonder where these Iranian hypersonic super duper missiles are stored... I wonder how big the fireballs will be when those underground weapons storage facilities are blown to smithereens... I wonder if the current regime will survive long enough to be utterly humiliated when Eze 38-39 comes to pass or if it will be some other evil despot at the helm...

I do not beleive Iran has any Hyper Sonic missiles. Tehran falsely describes several of their missiles as hypersonic, it has been shown by Israel to be nothing but propaganda and rhetoric.

Alex Vatanka, director of the Iran Program at the Middle East Institute in Washington, DC, said that Iran has “a long history of making exaggerated claims” when it comes to developing missiles. “That said, Iran has made huge advances in this sector and no one can deny that. Has Iran made it to the A-list among countries that can produce hypersonic missiles? That is not the case.”

It'll be interesting watching Iran flop again and again as they try to attack, and God strikes their missiles down. I was amazed at the answers to prayer over Israel so many times. Even when God allows something thru, it's for a reason.
