Cloudflare, Elon Musk's 'X' down again as Downdetector reports brief outage. Check latest status

Cloudflare, Elon Musk-owned 'X' are down for users on Friday, as reported by Downdetector.

Elon Musk's 'X' was down from a few users today as well as Cloudflare. However, the social media platform, formerly known as Twitter, is being recovered for most U.S. users after a brief outage on Friday, according to Downdetector.com, just days after the social media platform was hit by a disruption linked to Cloudflare's network. On Friday, too, Cloudflare was down for more than 500 U.S. users as of 10:57 a.m. (ET), according to Downdetector.

There were less than 500 reports of issues with the platform as of 11:47 am (ET), down from a peak of more than 20,500 incidents earlier in the day, according to the website that tracks outages by collating status reports from a number of sources. The actual number of affected users may differ from what's shown because these reports are user-submitted.


Earlier this week, a spike in unusual traffic causing errors in web-infrastructure company Cloudflare's network prevented thousands of users from accessing platforms such as X, Canva, ChatGPT and Grindr.

I think keeping an eye on this is important. As the deep state gets yet another barrel full-sized backwash over the Epstein issue (as was indicated as far back as several weeks ago when Elon Musk fire started PERFECT opics in naming Trump in Epstein files), because to me it would seem as the deep state runs out of options, cyber shut down and war is pretty much all they will likely have left. As we draw near the 2026 midterms (crucial), we might likely see upticks in outages as trial runs to bar Declass data dumps likely also "crucial" in shaping midterm outcomes.

But we are in a solar flare or we were last week and I heard something about ongoing solar activity. Good Northern Lights!!! Hard on electronics.

Would that impact something like this?

Maybe it's the first sign of an alien invasion - like Independence Day with the aliens taking over the TV signals on Cable.






But if it happens a third time, next Friday, I'm calling it an ALIEN INVASION! You can't be too careful with repeating signals as Independence Day taught us all!

Seriously all wisecracks aside, for people who rely on such things for serious stuff like business and news I suppose this could be quite a problem.

Rose @1LoverofGod posted a link to a video in this thread, and it doesn't mention Cloudflare, but I thought of this thread and wondered if Cloudflare is experiencing issues as maybe the whole AI stockmarket stuff is wobbly.

I am no good at all on stockmarket stuff but when things start going sideways in important sectors of the economy, sometimes it can have a knock on effect. I still don't know what Canva and Grindr are but I do know that people get information from X, sometimes time critical information like perhaps the stock market.

Thought you might like to see it too.

Hi and thanks Margery. Do you have the link to the article or the video? I was not certain where to find it. I might be interested.

But in general, I don't get too much into stuff dealing with technology, like internet shutdowns and stuff like that. What is more interesting to me is the realities that bring us to discover this and that about the current trends we are in. The kinds of trends i heard about in 2017 like if Bitcoin could hit $10k or something like that. But now its orbiting around $100k. In those days there were some that saw economics in a more real way i guess than we averagely do. And understood the FED would have to be a target because they are the source of the problem. In those days it was understood that gold would have to go up. Because the massive printing of money and the system the FED designed for ths USA can only last so long because it is a debt note system. So its for those reasons internet interception would be on my radar. The fact that gold is over $4k an ounce is proof that there are bad faith players that have levers of power and would be extremely interested to stay rich, and not lose power and not go to jail--because they money launder through more printing leaving the economy holding the bag. Gold is high at least in part because of printing money like an open ended credit card, I believe. Its not that gold got more valuable, its that the dollar is worth less in comparison. Gold (as bit coin) are just reflecting the true value of the dollar.

In warfare the first thing to do is to knock out the communications. Because without them, the enemy is much less apt to respond. If they could communicate, they could respond in much bigger coordinated ways. This is always a staple practice in war. From what we have seen, i would say that self centered government has become the enemy of the people. And they would prefer us to eat bugs, own nothing and be happy. Oh yeah...and shut up of course. Going against the narrative is not allowed. If this is the kind of cancel culture (kill Charlie Kirk) selfish governance is about, i don't think its much of a stretch at all to down as much communication as they can have, if, a moment of exposures comes. And I'm fairly certain it will come (if socio-political indicators prove potentially right once again).

The helpful news I believe is we are pretty much slated for such a time as this to find out shortly if going in a particular way or not. I would imagine declassification would be a prime ingredient to sour dem momentum for the midterms. Trump recently mentioned something in a discussion about his style of waiting two weeks before something to unload on. Trump does seem to be of the type that is very conscientious of timing. And that hour glass is emptying as we approach midterms to see or not. Blessings.

It's not too heavy on tech, but it does cover the stock market and the stuff going on there right now- in a word or two - instability, volatility, swings wildly up and down. Not crashing yet, but wobbling a LOT
