Christian rocker brings down the house in Detroit after facing Canadian censorship

Hol

Well-known
When it comes to religious freedom, things are different in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Detroit, Mich. is situated just 2.7 km away from Windsor, Ont. Accessible via the Ambassador Bridge or the Detroit-Windsor tunnel, on a good day, a drive of a just a few minutes separates Canada from the United States of America.

But in terms of freedom of speech, the tale of these two nations is night and day. Going from our dominion to the U.S. republic is akin to Dorothy going from dreary Kansas to the Technicolor paradise that is the Land of Oz.

We popped by Detroit last Saturday to catch Sean Feucht’s latest concert in a public park.

Guess what: the city did not revoke his permit due to “safety” concerns. The mainstream media did not go on a journalistic jihad to vilify and demonize Sean nor Christianity. The rank and file members of Antifa, the Islamists, and the zealots who comprise the Rainbow Mafia did not show up to the park to protest and intimidate attendees and throw smoke bombs.

There's apparently a LOT more to the story and Feucht isn't the innocent victim he's portrayed here. Normally I like Rebel News and agree with much of what they say. They didn't dig well enough on this one. And Feucht has used this persecution gig before.

I don't approve of govt interference with church stuff but that didn't happen to Feucht in Canada.

This Canadian Christian street pastor who also does a fair bit of good discernment ministry (he's often linked up to another Canadian who is now doing that too- Laura Lyn Tyler Thomson) did some digging and created this video here which sheds a LOT of light and context as to what Mr Feucht did to create this issue that he then cried religious persecution over. I've bumped into him before - Brother John Elving.

- YouTube He's a bit rambly but he circles back to the point over and over and this isn't the first time that Feucht has been brought under scrutiny by discernment ministries which include Justin Peters. 2 months ago, long before this blew up Justin Peters was pointing out the problems with this NAR Hillsong singer who calls himself a Christian Nationalist. Julie Roys has brought up his financial deceptions prior to this scandal in her Roys Report.

He brings up Elias Dummer a Christian Canadian musician who fact checked Feucht's claims. Dummer's fact checks included the kind of context about churches being burnt, and closed.

Here is the article from Premier Christianity by Elias Dummer:: Why Christians like me are opposing Sean Feucht’s ‘persecution’ narrative - in this article you can follow links to the Julie Roys report on Feucht,

quote from the Premier Christianity article includes these links
"Recent investigative reporting by The Roys Report revealed Feucht’s nonprofits purchasing high-value properties — some listed as parsonages — later found on short-term rental sites. Five of his former colleagues have also provided evidence on truthandfreedomstories.com of Feucht’s unethical handling of donations, poor treatment of staff and volunteers and dishonesty in the way he presents himself in the media."

A point Dummer makes in the Premier Christianity article is important: Sean Feucht has been using the persecution narrative before, and it's paid off big. This isn't the first or only time he's done this.

and for those who just want to read a brief article only about this particular claim of Canadian authorities persecuting him, this one published by Julie Roys The Roys Report here: Sean Feucht and Musician Elias Dummer Battle Online, after Dummer Challenges Feucht’s Persecution Claims adds a LOT of much needed context.

More came out again today- Sean smuggles stuff across the border and tells his staff to lie and say they are there for sightseeing. More on the mayor of Winnipeg explaining his side of things.

Listen to Laura Lyn Tyler Thompsons' broadcast here: - YouTube

The start of the program is the hi how are you stuff.

At Time Stamp 6:00 she begins.

Smuggling stuff across the border illegally, instructing staff to LIE to border guards and say they are just in Canada for "sight seeing":

At Time stamp 8:14 she gets into Sean Feucht smuggling stuff across the Canadian border, instructing staff with him to lie to the border guards about merchandise (which has to be declared as such) to sell - splitting several thousand dollars of stuff into the various vehicles and then the staff had to say that they are just there for sight seeing.

That one left me startled. This is documented. Laura then goes into some of the other things that his staff went thru. (and probably still does) And this former staff member says there was more being smuggled back and forth.

Here's hoping our border guards get this guy banned from Canada FOR LIFE which might be a very good thing! I'm sure he'll use that to tar and feather us in the media as that would fit his narrative perfectly.

She gets into how he handles cash donations.

Money stuff:
Time stamp 15:50
explains how Sean Bolz and Sean Feucht were on each other's boards (Bolz was involved in using Facebook profiles to give personal Word of Knowledge and Prophecy to people) to allow each other "cover" to do what they want.

In addition to using his ministry to buy up good properties- avoiding taxes because these are listed as ministry housing (parsonages) and then he rents them out as B&B's - He's a bit shady with the donations and paying his staff. Good income stream, Cash unaccounted for, doesn't pay his staff.... turns the parsonages into income properties, doesn't pay tax because ...ministry!

The CHRISTIAN Mayor of Winnipeg explains Sean's lies!:

At the 21:47 mark
Laura shares an interview with the mayor of Winnipeg and Christian Mayor explains he found out about this at church, with people asking him why he'd cancelled Sean Feucht. He explains that Sean Feucht was NOT cancelled, he was denied the permit for very good reasons as the mayor explains. The mayor tried to get him to go with a more appropriate location (better resources) but that was refused. He tried to explain Canadian regulations actually mean that the cities NEED to give him accommodations but again, that seems to have been blown off. It doesn't fit Sean's religious persecution narrative that nets him lots of views, support and all important donations.

That mayor is trying to get in touch with his counterparts across Canada who have been burned by this yo yo to get their stories out front and centre! Maybe they should start a class action against him for libel!

EXPOSING IRAQI CHRISTIANS TO PERSECUTION FOR A GOOD VIDEO FOR MARKETING PURPOSES:

At another point (sorry I missed getting the time stamp) I was horrified to hear that Sean Feucht did an event in Iraq where the Christians there are under threats of persecution and they asked him NOT TO VIDEO OR PHOTO THEM

and HE DID BOTH, posting it afterwards for everyone around the world to see what a great guy Sean is, ministering in Iraq. Of course that means that the local muslim authorities will hunt down the people whose faces Sean showed them and the world! And now they get to be persecuted more!

And that is not all!

FAKE CONVERSIONS:

In a Canadian performance he got his team to get one of the Sikh turbanned security guards to come on stage and proceeded to use him as a "salvation" show despite the guard being completely unaware (and not a new convert), and who really got mad he got tricked into going on stage for that. It was in one of the previous videos above- either Brother John Elving's or the first Laura Lyn I linked to.

After the half way point she goes on some more, but it's more backing up stuff and including more details but she does get into the fact that the employees coming forward are remarkably similar in their stories from the most recent back to the beginning of this guy's ministry.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Whatever else is going on, this is NOT the poster boy for Christians under persecution!

On the good side Rebel News is coming out swinging against Canadian banks debanking Christian institutions! But it's so hard to even trust the usually trustworthy sources now. Frustrating. But Rebel is usually right.

And they try to stand up for Christians. Just with this one it went a little sideways.

No kidding.

A few days before I saw your expose of Sean Feucht I had seen a post on X where Mike Winger came out swinging against Feucht. I had no idea why until I saw your posts.

Whatever else is going on, this is NOT the poster boy for Christians under persecution!
You’re right, but he is a good poster boy for Christian Nationalists.
