Cattle dropping dead from H5N1 Avian Flu are “Piled Up Along The Roadside” in California

Are we are on the verge of the worst public health crisis that any of us have ever witnessed? I just read a report from the Los Angeles Times that chilled me to the core. I knew that H5N1 avian flu was infecting dairy cows all over the nation, but I had no idea that things had gotten so bad. California produces more dairy than any other state, and so prices for milk, cheese and other dairy products will inevitably go up as herd after herd gets devastated by this insidious disease. More importantly, if H5N1 avian flu starts spreading among humans on a widespread basis, the panic that we will see will be off the charts.

This wasn’t supposed to happen.
We were told that even though millions of birds were dying, H5N1 avian flu would not start spreading widely among mammals.
But now it is.

At this moment, dead cows are “stacked along roadsides rotting in the heat” in some areas of California…

Call me a conspiracy theorist but I honestly think this is deliberate culling of cattle because "some people" are working hard at getting us away from eating meat.
And the Bible foretold this...

"Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth."
(KJV)

And why aren't the carcasses being burned to prevent sanitation issues and continued/spreading infection of healthy animals and birds?
Isn't that what Public Health, Department of Agriculture, etc. should be doing to protect people?

And just how did those carcasses get to the roadside? and get piled up?
If California doesn't have the funds, maybe they need to stop wasting what they have and use it for what needs to be done :tap:

That is why pasteurizing the milk is a good idea, and cooking meat to the correct temps. I like a rare steak but I also am reasonably sure where that meat came from.

If I don't know- I'll consider cooking it to the point of destroying the viruses and bacteria too. Fortunately viruses are susceptible to heat and there is research on that

here is one Heat Inactivation of Influenza Viruses—Analysis of Published Data and Estimations for Required Decimal Reduction Times for Different Temperatures and Media short Margery version- 60C or 140F for half an hour does the trick with H1N1.

and here: "H1N1 was inactivated to undetectable levels within 5 minutes, 2.5 minutes, and 1 minute of heat treatment at 70, 80, and 90 degrees C, respectively in the suspension tests." from the NIH Inactivation of influenza A virus H1N1 by disinfection process - PubMed For translation 90C is 194F so still under the boiling point.

Which is why us running a fever is so awesome. God's design again. It not only activates our immune systems better but the rise in body temp alone kills off a lot of the little invaders. Praise God! Just don't take stuff to bring the fever down if you can possibly help it. It's God's system in play. Their proteins are quite fragile.

Oh and Listerine mouthwash. With the thymol, the alcohol and all the nasty tasting bits. A lot of viruses replicate in the back of the nose and throat so a good gargle several times a day for a couple of days if you think you're exposed- works wonders.

The viral load gets lowered, and what that means is less viruses in your system, you'll be less sick if you do catch it (or that Wuhan virus of 2020) and you might avoid it altogether even if exposed.

I looked at the OP news source (TheMostImportantNews), which was derived from another source (The Daily Mail).
Careful reading of both suggests progressive alarmism via editing to produce the derivative article. The Daily Mail has inaccuracies concerning human infection with bird flu. Don't know what else. And the DM article tells why the carcasses are along the road: reduce infections on farms.

I "strongly suspect" the news isn't as bad as what some are trying to get us to believe. So many places seem to be basing what they publish on the adage, "Never let a good crisis go to waste" to push various agenda(s).

Yes, something definitely stinks about all this and it's not just the dead cattle.
I've never dealt with mass losses but all of us who raise cattle have probably had to deal with carcasses.
The last place I would put them would be piled next to a road. The stench and the danger scavenger animals would pose (think mass road kill) to traffic make me think this is all for public display to feed a narrative.
And they're supposedly picking up these decomposing animals and processing them to use in other products like animal feed- I'm not buying the story.

I'm thankful my dog's food is only made with chicken and rice. No beef.

The dog food industry is not what we would hope or like it to be

On analysis, there have been instances of all sorts of stuff in dog food, including euthanasia drugs and metabolites, dog fur, and dog  :apost: :ban:

It wouldn't surprise me if some of the rendered cows ended up in some food sold for Fido, Spot, and maybe Fluffy :puke:
