Canada Bans More Guns, Suggests Sending Them to Ukraine

Canadian Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc announced on Thursday that 324 more “assault-style firearms” have been added to Canada’s list of banned guns.

Defense Minister Bill Blair suggested the legally purchased but now-banned weapons could be confiscated and shipped to Ukraine for use against Russian invaders.

“We’ve been working very closely with our friends in Ukraine to ensure that weapons that were intended to be used in combat, could be made available to them,” Blair said.

“Our goal is to ensure that no community, no family, is devastated by mass shootings in Canada again,” he said.

Sounds about like my country in action under Trudeau. Their ability to think their way out of a paper bag is somewhat impaired. The criminal element in Canada, and the recent migrant invaders seem to have no difficulty procuring all kinds of illegal firearms.

Crime hasn't gone down in all the years of gun control and confiscation, in fact there is an inverse relationship. Less legal guns, more guns in the hands of criminals. Less legal guns, more lethal shootings. Funny how that happens.

Sadly, it is true that gun control activists seem incapable of putting two and two together. Their fear of guns is greater than their ability to think rationally. In fact their attitude towards firearms it's very similar to some people's irrational negative attitudes towards Trump. In fact, It seems to me that anti-gun activists seem to display symptoms similar to those of Trump Derangement Syndrome.

And lookign at my YT feed this morning I see Jordan Peterson has moved to the USA. He got stopped with an arrest warrant that the cops didn't even know what it was about, and his ongoing issues with being "allowed" freedom of speech without having his professional credentials pulled. I didn't watch the YT, too much going on today, gotta get to the gym but it wasn't surprising. Some Hollywood leftist will take his place I'm sure although when it comes to ACTUALLY living up here, dealing with the lineups for health care, the lack of drs etc I think most of them realize how good they have it down south.

You might get a chuckle. So yesterday my daughter, son in law and 5 granddaughters drove me in and out of son and daughter in laws place for our family Christmas get together and son's birthday.

On the way home my eldest granddaughter was talking about this and she starts off with wondering if Trump could do this, because-- get this, she, her sisters, and their parents all would LOVE it if we could become the 51st State.

It was a van load of wishful thinking going on.

Everyone agreed that Trump would be a wonderful leader and thought it would be a great turn of events for Canada till one of them brought up term limits, and we were then realizing that if the pendulum swung back in the next election, we might be in for something like Trudeau.

It would make a refreshing change after a decade of Trudeau jr destroying the place. Hoping and praying Pierre Poilievre gets a crack at things soon.

It's looking like everywhere except Quebec it's a Conservative majority. The Bloc is committed to separatism but only if the ROC (rest of Canada) continues to fund their fantasy. The natives of Quebec aren't fond of the Francophone separatists and they want all of Northern Quebec complete with all the Hydro Electric power generation that Montreal requires to light up their city.

Since the ROC don't worry too much about the Bloc, it looks like a Conservative sweep coming next fall or earlier if we get a vote of non confidence thru. Trudeau survived another vote in the House today thanks to that traitor Singh propping him up. Singh gets his pension if Parliament holds another few days so January might have a real vote in the House where Singh doesn't prop Trudeau up and we can finally flush that weasel out of leadership.
