BREAKING NEWS Israel allegedly striking targets in western Syria, state media claims

Israel needs to be VERY CAREFUL…

Israel executed air strikes tonight near the RUSSIAN 🇷🇺 Hmeimim air Base on Syria's coast. Early reports are that Israel 🇮🇱 targeted an ammunition depot near or possibly WITHIN the Russian Hmeimim base in the Latakia countryside. Both Syrian 🇸🇾and RUSSIAN 🇷🇺 Air defenses were used to try to shoot down incoming Israeli missiles.

"The Israeli bombing targeted other military sites in Latakia Governorate, coinciding with the bombing of the warehouse INSIDE the Russian Hmeimim base."

Israel doesn't need Russia to get involved in this war that Israel has ongoing with its Arab enemies.

Iran has used this air base in the past, to bring in weapons to both Hezbollah in Lebanon and Syria, with Russian protection and support.

We'll keep an eye on this. Hopefully it's a nothing burger.

According to Syria TV, Israel STRUCK the RUSSIAN Hmeimim AIRBASE shortly after an Iranian plane from "Qeshm Fars Air" landed.

⭕ Massive attack on Syria.
⭕ Air defenses active 50+ minutes.
⭕ Targets: Latakia, Jableh, Tartous.
⭕ Hmeimim Airbase hit; 50+ intercepted.
⭕ Fires in Jableh; firefighting teams deployed.
⭕ Unknown attack origin; Russian support.

I need to go look at a map quick. The 2 sites mentioned besides Damascus in Jeremiah 49 (the other main Damascus prophecy) were both north of Damascus and one was near the Russian base. Homs and Aleppo in modern names I think.

Wow that is getting interesting Yup, just near Aleppo and near Homs.

This isn't going to make Russia happy

Latakia where the Russian sea base is and Tartous and Jableh, are in a line up and down the only coastal region of Syria. That pretty much covers the coast of Syria.

They are all north of Damascus which isn't near any coastline. It is due east of Beirut more or less so when the Bible in Jeremiah 49:23 KJV says this: 23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.

Many bible scholars think that might tie into something that worries Damascus from the sea.

Hama is actually close to Tartus, (it isn't Homs, I was wrong, it's called Hama today) while Aleppo near the site of ancient Arpad, is due east inland from Latakia.

Jableh is in between the port of Latakia where the Russians have their base and Tartus which is north of Lebanon on the coast of Syria.

Wow that's getting awfully Biblical tonight!
