U.S. Customs and Border Protection, or CPB, reported Saturday that agents encountered 3,201,144 illegal immigrants at or between ports of entry to the country between Oct. 1, 2022, and Sept. 30, 2023. (The federal government’s fiscal year runs from October through September.)
According to the data, Customs and Border Protection encountered 434,562 more illegal aliens in fiscal year 2023 than in fiscal year 2022.
