**This is an older article from 2018 but I thought to share it because it lists all of the nations involved in the Psalm 83 conflict, and it appears that every one of them is checking out, even as recent reports that now even Egypt has deployed to the Gaza strip.......


Article:

Psalm 83 reveal the ancient identity of the nations in the alliance, which could also include notable terrorist organizations like Hamas, Hezbollah, ISIS and more.
"It includes the tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites, Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia and the inhabitants of Tyre. Even Assyria has allied with them, lending its strength to the descendants of Lot. (Selah)" (Psalm 83:6-8)

These groups are no longer identifiable by their ancient names. The modern-day equivalents of these nations, that will form an alliance and will be plotting to destroy the nation of Israel, include:

Tents of Edom = [decendants of Esau] Palestinian Refugees and Southern Jordanians

Ishmaelites = Saudi Arabians

Moab = Palestinian Refugees and Central Jordanians

Hagrites = Egyptians

Gebal = Northern Lebanese

Amalek = Arabs South of Israel

Philista = Palestinian Refugees and Hamas of Gaza Strip

Inhabitants of Tyre = Hezbollah and Southern Lebanese

Assyria = Syrians and perhaps Northern Iraqis included

Children of Lot = Moab and Ammon

Interesting ideas & thanks so much for posting, but these lists often vary so much that I confuse myself trying to follow them.

Ishmaelites = Saudi Arabians

Moab = Palestinian Refugees and Central Jordanians

Yesterday on the Land and the Book program with Charlie Dyer he explained that he thinks Palestinians are descendants of Esau. In the list above they are listed multiple times, Tents of Edom, Philista, Children of Lot.

The bigger question for me is who are the Saudis? From a series of studies on Islam through Pfander Films, it's thought that Ishmaelites were not the original Arabs. It seems that part of the false religion of Islam incorporated Ishmael into its narrative. Because it's a religion of lies, death, violence - naturally they'd draw from this man: Genesis 16:12 “And he will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone’s hand will be against him; And he will live to the east of all his brothers.”

I can see where there can be some confusion when various Bible scholars have different views on who is who
I know that Ezekiel 38 lists those who stand by while the Gog and Magog war takes place and Saudi Arabia is one of the by standers and they are listed as Sheba and Dedan there

But we can also look at Israeli's, and not all Israeli's are Jews, and not every American is of the same ethnic background either.

So I would imagine that Saudi's also have more than one ethic group and I have read that Arabs certainly are descendents of Ishmael and if my memory is correct, even though Esau was Jacob's twin brother and both descendants of Abraham, after Esau forfeited his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of stew, and Jacob got the blessing and the land of the covenant, in rebellion Esau intermarried with an Ishmaelite Woman so there would be Arab and Jewish blood mixed in the ancestry.

I'm sure you're right. It seems most western nations are Heinz 57, and the Middle East has been going in that direction since Abraham fathered Ishmael, and he married Ketura. Some geneticists suggest that we can not detect any DNA difference between Jews and Arabs. I was shocked when I first learned that.

I'm sure God will sort it all out when it comes time for the 144,000 to be His witnesses.
