Beheading of the Trib Saints

Andiamo

Hanging on to the Throne
Just thinking some morbid thoughts. Back when ISiS became well known, and I saw that their method of executing Christians was beheading, I just knew in my gut that I was seeing the people who would behead the Tribulation saints. Now after learning much more about prophecy, my understanding is that Ezekiel 38 is supposed to minimize or even negate any Muslim influence on the earth. But I still can’t help but wonder. I mean, look at the Muslim infiltration of Europe, the USA, Canada, etc. Look at how, despite the massive increase of antisemitism, the USA government is concerned at this moment about Islamophobia. And look at what the pope has been saying, and the (I forget the name of it) worship center of the “Big 3” they built. I just can really see Islam being included in the one world religion. And the Church will be gone, so nothing will be stopping the whole bunch of them from being radicalized. So will they be the executioners, possibly?

It isn't just ISIS that beheads. There are many muslim places that do this. And cut off hands, etc. It's all part of sharia. Some places are very strict, and others less so.

If the executioner is skilled, the sword sharp, and the condemned follows instructions and is still, it's (usually) quick and a pretty easy death.

OTOH, if it's a beginner or the sword's dull, or the condemned wiggles, flinches, or moves, or the executioner's having a bad day or the condemned made him mad, it can be really painful and prolonged.

During Roman times, people used to tip the executioner so he'd do a good job and it would be as painless as possible.

Beheading's a lot easier on the condemned than lion(s) and tiger(s). Or the rack, spike board, burning at the stake . . .

So will they be the executioners, possibly?

After Eze 38-39 there will still be a large number of muslims in the world, it'll have been the majority of radical jihadists who get put down...

As far as applying for the job of executioner (head lopperoffer), I suspect there will be long lines of applicants from diverse backgrounds. In those days I would imagine there will be a lot of blood lust.

Yes. With the restrainer no longer holding evil back, it will be a bloodbath. Killing new Christians might be considered a top job to receive, convincing many they are doing great work for the AC.

I’m imagining the remainder of Muslims becoming radicalized, and then having a huge influence on the world. Like the Nazis did. The hate is of the same demonic spirit. Throw in some cultural appropriation and beheading becomes the method of execution.

Nothing really new under the sun. Foxe's Martyrs is a pretty gruesome read. Accurate older history books also.

Studying what happened to the martyrs, who went before, can help strengthen believers, especially when facing hard persecution.
The Western church needs to do a better job of preparing congregants for what is coming if The Lord tarries, and not just spiritually.

A healthy relationship with Christ is about the only way I can think of to prepare for such things, and is the best answer for most things.

What bothered me about that book was that, while the majority of the martyrs seemed to have supernatural tolerance, some of them suffered tremendously. I have to remind myself that He was glorified through those who were able to sing in the flames, but also glorified through those were clearly suffering yet maintained their Christlike character to the end.

If The Lord tarries, I ask that I die well as a good witness for The Gospel, and not as a sniveling, shrieking, howling, begging coward, and that I don't renounce The Lord.

I pray our unsaved loved ones, and all unsaved will quickly make the wise decision.

I can only imagine the horror from the few seconds after the rapture, all the way through the 7 year trib. How many unsaved now are thinking to themselves “if the rapture happens, then I know what my Christian friends warned me about is true, and then I will confess Him”. Sadly, many around the world will die as a direct result of the millions of Christians being removed. Pilots removed, falling planes, driverless cars smashing into others, etc…..it will be sheer chaos.
