I was outside the Victorian Parliament covering the “Women Will Speak” rally, where women gathered to challenge the looming anti-vilification and so-called “social cohesion” laws. The crowd wasn’t massive – around 150 women – but the significance of the event couldn’t be missed.

The women I spoke with were deeply concerned about how these new laws could criminalise their voices. “Around the world when these laws come in, women are targeted when we offend men, particularly men who claim some kind of gender identity,” one event organiser explained.

The police presence was extraordinary, even for Melbourne. Riot police stood by with shields at the ready, but not because the women were expected to cause trouble. As one organiser told me: “They’re definitely not here for us.

They’re here for the people who seek to do us harm and who seek to silence women who have concerns about the loss of our sex-based human rights.”

Sure enough, a small but noisy mob of counter-protesters tried to disrupt the event. Ironically, they called their stunt “Don’t Let Fascists Speak.” One woman at the rally had the perfect response: “Fascists tend to want to silence other people… if they’re not happy for me to speak my mind then who is the real fascist?”

Antifa Tried to Incite Violence Between Black and Jewish Neighbors​

Antifa thugs showed up in a Brooklyn neighborhood to incite Black residents to attack Jewish residents on Wednesday, but the plot did not go as planned.

The incident occurred in Crown Heights just after a tragic mass shooting that killed three people. The shooting coincided with an annual vigil commemorating the 1991 death of Gavin Catto, a seven-year-old Black child who was killed in a car accident that involved a Hasidic Jewish driver.

Antifa sought to take advantage of the commemoration to spark violence in the neighborhood. They shouted anti-Jewish rhetoric in the hopes of pushing Black residents to physically assault their Jewish neighbors. It appears they were trying to use historical racial and ethnic tensions between Black and Hasidic Jewish communities to incite another riot.

However, video footage shows the Black residents standing between Antifa and the Jewish residents as both groups told the leftist agitators to leave. They can be heard shouting “scram!” and “**** Antifa!” and “skedaddle!”

Great news. Thanks for sharing this Hol. In one sense, looking at how Rules for Radicals is the mystic shadow voice of supposed freedom in society, we can see they use a pretty simple rule book. Use, rinse, repeat. And become very predictable as to tactic. Which is also a lovely discernment feature of sober social order. That Antifa and the like have lazy hand books the world is waking up to recognize as: "Is that all you have to offer?" / “Fascists tend to want to silence other people… if they’re not happy for me to speak my mind then who is the real fascist?”
