Anti-Israel groups are seeking to mobilize a heavy presence in Washington, DC for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s July 24 congressional address, threatening him with arrest.

“Surround the US Capitol and issue a notice of citizen’s arrest for Netanyahu for crimes against humanity,” said the Shut It Down for Palestine coalition.

Beyond the coalition’s main members, which include the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), National Students for Justice in Palestine, the Act Now to Stop War and End Racism Coalition (Answer), the People’s Forum, and Al-Awda: The Palestine Right to Return Coalition, almost 200 groups have endorsed the rally next Wednesday.

American Muslims for Palestine, the Arab Resource and Organizing Center, Code Pink, the US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, the US Palestinian Community Network, and the Jewish Voice for Peace were listed as conveners.Anti-Israel groups across the United States have called for “national mobilization” toward Washington, DC.

Many in the United States and around the world wonder why hasn’t President Joe Biden been seen in the last five days, since he just resigned his Presidential candidacy in a shocking – if unsurprising – move.

While Biden’s doctor Kevin O’Connor, has just said in a letter that “his symptoms have almost resolved completely.”

“O’Connor also said Biden’s pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature are normal, his oxygen saturation is ‘excellent’ and his lungs remain clear.”
But after they assured the world that Biden was in his finest cognitive state ever, it is difficult for many to give credence to any such reports until they actually see him.

“The meeting between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden will likely not be held tomorrow due to the latter still being sick with COVID-19, a source in the prime minister’s entourage tells The Times of Israel.

The White House has said Biden is quarantining in Delaware and will return to Washington, DC, once he tests negative, without offering a more detailed timeframe.”

That's not exactly a good start for someone acting for the president.

Doesn't her job as VP (running for president) require that she honour visiting heads of State with her presence when she is called on to act in the place of the president???

What does she have in Indianapolis that can't be rescheduled for stuff that actually requires a president (or wannabe) to actually be there and do president things?

Probably her campaign (now for the job of President) is in Indianapolis.

But that is the height of rudeness to tell a visiting head of State, whose visit has been scheduled in advance that sorry she can't be there to accompany him to Congress.

Surely affairs of State which the Congress address is, falls under the category of auditioning for President. If she can't decide on priorities like this, how can she expect to govern?

Or worse yet

perhaps she's quietly signalling her feelings about Israel.
