Vance Havner is one of the really good guys. A real revivalist. He preached the FULL gospel-- we're all heading for Hell, but God is offering us Heaven if we will only humble ourselves and repent. He despised the milquetoast social gospel so common today. As he famously said, "If they had a social gospel in the days of the prodigal son, somebody would have given him a bed and a sandwich and he never would have gone home."
