President Washington is not dead, surely his body is, but his spirit and soul is very much viable after his death 215 years later.
Some would point out the fact is his being a Free Mason and in his early adulthood he sought glory and status by seeking a commission in the Kings Army as a British officer. Yes, it is true that he sought wealth and status by marrying into a family of both those things.
He graduated from the school of hard knocks, but when the colonies needed him most he filled the ticket of Commander of the Continental Army.
There have been eyewitnesses that tell of the young officer going off just he and his horse to knee and pray. The stories of him miraculously preserved on the battle field having had horses killed under him.
It think that his life teaches us to take ia person entire fire into consideration and not to judge a person based on any one event or time in his life.
