Do you think things will escalate with Lebanon?

I expect a major escalation as Israel responds. Lebanon's Hezbollah want to provoke a full scale war with Israel. Iran is behind it, using Hezbollah as a puppet, while the Lebanese people probably don't want that escalation.

Iran like Russia, China and N Korea will have to do what they want before the US elections and the possibility of a Trump presidency.

However that is balanced by the certainty that God is in charge, and He will only allow what He does for the purposes of fulfillment of prophecy and moving things along at the speed He has planned.

So The Restrainer may continue to keep a lid on these countries, and additionally keep a lid on the US election drama. It all depends on how close we are to the beginning of the Tribulation (and the Rapture before that)

Some things have to happen at some point near to the Trib and Ezek 38 in order to have the preconditions for Israel to be living in that state of false peace for Ezek 38 and the need to sign a covenant with death and hades as Isaiah puts it - with Israel knowing full well who she's covenanting with to start the 7 years of the Trib.

Since there are no preconditions for the Rapture, that also means we may not see these preconditions for Israel coming about.

Just wait until IDF goes into the tunnels that run all over Lebanon and under the Israeli-Lebanese border. It'll make the recent operations into the tunnels between Gaza and Israel look like child's play

Diplomatic and intelligence sources report high alert on the Lebanese side, with terror groups affiliated with Hezbollah and Iran evacuating positions along the Syrian-Lebanese border.

The Syrian Observatory issued a statement that read, "Groups loyal to Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah are evacuating their points south of Damascus, Quneitra, and West Kalmon in anticipation of Israeli attacks."

The Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation channel (LBC) stated that "Israel has decided to attack Lebanon, and the matter is already finalized."
