FBI calls incident a ‘targeted terror attack’; footage shows man screaming ‘End Zionists’ at scene; PM: Attack ‘direct result of blood libels against the Jewish state and people’

"“At least eight people were wounded Sunday in Boulder, Colorado — including one person in critical condition — when activists rallying for the release of the Israeli hostages in Gaza were attacked by a man shouting “end Zionists,” who fired a makeshift flamethrower and threw firebombs at them.
The incident, which the FBI said it was investigating as an act of terrorism, marked the second major attack against a Jewish gathering in the US in recent weeks after two Israeli embassy staffers were shot and killed outside an event at the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington DC. Four women and four men between 52 and 88 years old were transported to hospitals, Boulder police said. Authorities had earlier put the count of the injured at six and said at least one of them was in a critical condition.
The suspect is in custody and was identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45.
Witnesses told investigators that Soliman attacked the demonstrators with a “makeshift flamethrower” and threw an incendiary device, FBI Special Agent Mark Michalek said at a press conference. Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn said the suspect hurled Molotov cocktails at the demonstrators.
“It is clear that this is a targeted act of violence and the FBI is investigating this as an act of terrorism,” Michalek said.
A joint statement from Boulder Jewish community groups said that an incendiary device had been thrown at participants in a hostage rally by a group called Run for Their Lives. Chapters of the group hold weekly events around the US to raise awareness about the hostages. The attack came on the eve of the Jewish festival of Shavuot.”

From News Nation:

“The White House deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser Stephen Miller said on social media:

“A terror attack was committed in Boulder, Colorado by an illegal alien. He was granted a tourist visa by the Biden Administration and then he illegally overstayed that visa. In response, the Biden Administration gave him a work permit. Suicidal migration must be fully reversed.”

It was unclear Monday morning if Soliman would face further charges in connection with the incident, which the FBI called a “targeted terror attack.”

Trump blasts Biden in Boulder response

In a social media post Monday, President Donald Trump criticized his predecessor’s border policies while admonishing Sunday’s violence.

“Yesterday’s horrific attack in Boulder, Colorado, WILL NOT BE TOLERATED in the United States of America. He came in through Biden’s ridiculous Open Border Policy, which has hurt our Country so badly,” Trump wrote.

He continued: ‘My heart goes out to the victims of this terrible tragedy, and the Great People of Boulder, Colorado!’”

I read that he was wearing a landscaper’s style backpack sprayer filled with gasoline that he was using to try and light people on fire with.

I just can’t image the agony of living thru being burned like that. Burns are so horrifically painful. How in the world can another person think that type of behavior is okay.

I hope Jesus returns soon and puts a stop to this type of behavior forever.

Flamethrowers are probably the most horrific individual weapon of war, regardless of whether used against people, animals, or property. However, they are good for cleaning up a battlefield to prevent disease when operational considerations prohibit "more civilized" methods.
When used in combat, very frequently, the operator ended up engulfed and died a horrific death unless a friend takes mercy and shoots.
At best, the operator stinks like fuel for a very long time, and there is invariably PTSD and neurological damage.

It is alarming to see how the antisemitism has grown not only in Europe but even here in the US. It seems to be rather like the Hitler era of WW2. "never again" is sadly trending toward "here it is again."
Recently, I've had to cut ties with people over it. They called me a traitor to the faith and to my race. And the thing is, these folks projected zero indication that this is where their headspace was. People have been harboring some weird stuff that is just starting to creep out of them. They are emboldened and hyper-confident.

I remember when my Dad cut ties with people over anti-Semitism.

As a musician, who had gone to Julliard in NYC, Dad had lots of Jewish friends and professional contacts, but it cost him professionally to stand up for the Jewish musicians because of the anti-Semitism that was going on in the classical music industry in the late 50s and 1960s.

The Holocaust was recent enough that most adults remembered the horror when they found out, so there was no excuse.

I was early school-aged at the time and it reinforced what I had learned from a friend's mother, who had numbers on both arms (she survived two camps). Fortunately, everyone in the neighborhood got along . . . about half Lutheran, a quarter Catholic, and a quarter Jewish (Conservative and Orthodox). One family adhered to Native American traditional religion. The Goyim turned on lights, shoveled, etc. for Jewish neighbors on their Shabbat. Everyone knew to bring Kosher food for a family sitting Shiva.

NEVER AGAIN :tap:

Some Egyptian news outlets paint connection between Colorado attacker and Muslim Brotherhood

US President Donald Trump echoed the theme on Truth Social, writing that the attack showed why “the Muslim Brotherhood must stay banned and its sympathisers removed.”

"Egyptian news outlets have seized on Sunday’s arson attack in Boulder, Colorado, to revive allegations against the Muslim Brotherhood, branding the Egyptian-born suspect, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, as a supporter of the outlawed movement even though US investigators have provided no such finding.

Soliman, 45, is accused of hurling Molotov cocktails and blasting a makeshift flamethrower at elderly participants in a weekly walk on Pearl Street that calls for the release of 58 Israeli hostages held by Hamas. 12 people were injured, including a Holocaust survivor; one victim remained in critical condition on Monday evening, police said.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is treating the incident as a suspected lone-actor hate crime. Court filings show that Soliman entered the United States on a B-1/B-2 tourist visa in August 2022, overstayed when it expired in February 2023 and received a one-year work permit that lapsed this past March. Homeland Security officials said he had made a failed asylum attempt in 2005. He is being held in Boulder County Jail on five felony counts, including attempted first-degree murder and use of incendiary devices, with bail set at $10 million.

Brotherhood narrative dominates Cairo headlines

The Cairo-based news portal Egypt Telegraph ran a prominent banner reading, “Mansoura man behind Colorado attack ‘liked’ Ikhwan pages,” claiming that archived screenshots from a Facebook account bearing Soliman’s name showed repeated endorsements of Muslim Brotherhood content and the slogan “Islam is the solution.” The site did not publish the images."
