When we put our trust in Christ to save us, we receive the gift of GODโS SON. But with Godโs Single Gift, there are extraordinary blessings included that we immediately receive. They are the work of God alone, in which we had no part. None of these gifts are ever withdrawn, rescinded, revoked, or canceled, for all are bound up in Who Christ is. We simply cannot separate Who Christ is from what He has done without devaluing Him. Every gift is an eternal work of God. They are based entirely on the infinite WORTH and infinite MERIT of Christ on our behalf.
Although thereโs lots of overlap in this list, an itemization like this can help us see each giftโs distinctiveness. Letโs dive in to the unsearchable riches of Christโฆ
All our sins are forgiven for all time, and are no longer held against us, nor remembered by God. They have been removed by Christโฆ as far as the east is from the west. (Colossians 2:13; 1:14; Ephesians 1:7; 4:32; Romans 8:33-34; Hebrews 8:12; Psalm 103:12)
We are ๐ซ๐ฐ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ฅ to Christ, made ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ด๐ฑ๐ช๐ณ๐ช๐ต with Him, made ๐ค๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ญ๐ฆ๐ต๐ฆ๐ญ๐บ ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ฆ ๐ธ๐ช๐ต๐ฉ ๐๐ช๐ฎ. His death was our death. His burial was our burial. His resurrection was our resurrectionโฆ i.e., we were made alive together with Him, even seated with the ascended Christ in the heavenlies. (Romans 6:1-10; Ephesians 2:4-6; 1 Corinthians 6:17; Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:1-4)
We become bone of His bone, and flesh of His flesh. We are made a living part of the victorious, resurrected Christ through which He manifests His life to the world today. (Romans 12:4-5; Ephesians 5:30; 1:22-23; 4:15-16; Colossians 1:18; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14)
We become ๐๐ฐ๐ฅโ๐ด ๐ฐ๐ธ๐ฏ ๐๐๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐๐ ๐ฐ๐ง๐ง๐ด๐ฑ๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ, who receive the bountiful care and kindness of God as our very Father. We are members of His royal family and household. He does not merely refer to us as His โchildโ as sentimental, figurative talkโฆ we are actually birthed by God, brought forth of His own divine (incorruptible) seed and nature โ His Spirit and His Word. (John 3:6; 1 Peter 1:23) #BornAgain #Regenerated
No sin of ours will ever stick in the courtroom of heaven. God officially and judicially pronounced us blameless and morally upright in His sight. Having been completely set apart unto God (๐ด๐ข๐ฏ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ง๐ช๐ฆ๐ฅ), He acquitted us of all sin charges against us in advance of Judgment Day. All condemnation and eternal judgment is forever removed from our lives (e.g. the Great White Throne Judgment, the wrath of God, and the lake of fire). (Romans 8:1-3; John 3:18; Hebrews 10:10; 1 Corinthians 1:30)
God has credited to us Christโs perfect obedience, making us legally righteous and holy and in perfect right standing with Him. (Romans 3:22a; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 1:30) #imputation
We were personally set free from the slave market of sin, having been purchased by God with the precious currency of the blood of His dear Son. Now He owns us, we are His possession. (1 Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 5:9)
God is no longer angry with us. He is not out to get us. Sin deeply offended God. But His righteous and just demands against all our sin was satisfied (propitiated) by being poured out on Christ in our place. Now He can ๐ณ๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ต๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด๐ญ๐บ show us mercy. (Romans 3:25; Hebrews 2:17; 1 John 2:2; 4:10)
We have been called by God into intimate fellowship with Him and given the unique privilege of complete and unlimited direct access to His throne. This includes a lifelong invitation to come boldly and confidently to Him to receive all manner of help and grace and mercy whenever we need itโฆ for strength in weakness, for endurance in trials, for victory in temptation. Godโs ear is always open to us. (Romans 5:2; Ephesians 2:18; Hebrews 4:16; 10:19-20)
We are no longer enemies of God, nor at cross-purposes with Him. We now live before Him in His favor. Because of Christ, we are (Romans 5:1, 10; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19)
God comes to make His home inside of us, and our body is then His holy temple. He lives in us and expresses Himself through us.

SON: John 14:20; Romans 8:10; Colossians 1:27
HOLY SPIRIT: Romans 5:5; 8:9; Galatians 3:2; 1 Corinthians 2:12; 6:19-20)
God seals our salvation with His Spirit, acting as a stamp of His permanent ownership of us. It is also His guarantee that we will receive our eternal and imperishable inheritance in Christ. (Ephesians 1:13, 14; 4:30; 2 Corinthians 1:22; 5:5; 1 Peter 1:4-5)
We are rescued from living under the authority of the devilโs domain (where we once lived, and where the rest of the world still lives) and officially placed under the realm and dominion of Christ, Godโs beloved Son. (Colossians 1:13)
Our name is immediately registered in heaven as one of its citizens. It is our true and eternal home. Born from above, we return to our home above. (Philippians 3:20-21) #Origin>>Destiny
Our old sin nature has been judged on the cross and its ๐ข๐ถ๐ต๐ฉ๐ฐ๐ณ๐ช๐ต๐บ over us removed and replaced by the authority and ministry of the Holy Spirit within. (Romans 6:6-12)
God has a treasure house of spiritual privileges and provisions that we need to live a godly life during our earthly stay. ALL have been granted to us โ lavished extravagantly upon us โ and are readily and abundantly accessible through Christ. (Ephesians 1:3-6; Romans 8:32)
Under Christ, our great High Priest, we become part of His royal priesthood. As such, we are appointed to the office and privilege of offering up spiritual sacrifices โ our praise and worship, as well as prayers for ourselves and intercessions for others. (1 Peter 2:5-9; Hebrews 13:15; 1 Timothy 2:1-3; Revelation 1:6)
Angels are assigned to serve us throughout our lives in order to fulfill Godโs plan and purpose. He sends them to us in ways that He sees fit, though we are mostly unaware of them. (Hebrews 1:14; 13:2)
All the evil oneโs ๐ข๐ค๐ค๐ถ๐ด๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด ๐ข๐จ๐ข๐ช๐ฏ๐ด๐ต ๐ถ๐ด are forever and completely invalidated by the Cross. The devil is stripped of his power to hold us in slavery to the fear of death; and forever stripped of his power over our eternal destiny in Christ. (Colossians 2:15; 1 John 5:19; Romans 8:1; Ephesians 4:30)
We inherit Christโs eternal future, a glorious future that is certain and secure.
