Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant stated on Saturday night that the military is operating in new areas of the Gaza Strip, adding that Jerusalem’s war objective to fully dismantle Hamas remains unaltered.

“In the last two days, we are operating in areas we have not been active in over the last month, and it will increase and intensify,” said Gallant. “This operation will reach every point that needs to be reached. We are going for the absolute elimination of the Hamas terror organization.

“We are going until we defeat them, dismantle their military capabilities and break their governing ability, and we will need to do this by adapting to the new conditions of the terrain we are fighting in. There will be intense and precise fire,” continued the minister.

Macron Claims Eliminating Hamas Would Take Israel ‘Ten Years’, Calls for Ceasefire and Two-State Talks

French President Emmanuel Macron once again criticised Israel’s military efforts against the Islamist Hamas terror group in the Gaza Strip and warned that it would take a decade to fully eradicate the terrorist organisation from the region.

Speaking on the sidelines of the United Nations climate change conference in Dubai on Saturday, President Macron questioned Israel’s stated goal of whipping out the Hamas terrorists who have controlled Gaza since a bloody coup in 2007 and who were behind the barbaric October 7th attacks in Israel that saw over 1,200 people, mostly civilians, killed and 240 kidnapped.

In response to the attacks and the recent breaking of a seven-day truce by Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed on Saturday to deliver a “total victory” over Hamas to eliminate the terror threat in Gaza. Questioning the strategy, Macron said: “If that’s [the objective], the war will last ten years”.

It might take France 10 years to get the job done, but not Israel. Israel can't afford to take 10 years to eliminate this despicable threat. hamas by its actions has forfeited any right to exist that it had and Israel would be extremely foolish to stop before all of hamas is annihilated.

Most likely if it was France warring against hamas, they'd probably turn it over to the USA after 15 or 20 years of failing, and then the USA would fight on endlessly until such time as the USA became to weary to continue on... (Vietnam).

Yeah maybe for an appeasement merchant like himself, i think Netanyahu this time around will get the job done.

Hezbollah is the one he's now got to be weary of as apparently they said they're ready to invade Israel and are just waiting for the green light from Iran to do so
