State Department aware of threats after Trump's action against Iran's nuclear program

An Iranian movement called the "Blood Covenant" is claiming to have crowdfunded more than $40 million as a reward for assassinating President Donald Trump, according to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI).

A website for the movement contained a poster of Trump in crosshairs with an appeal to donate "in order to ‘help establish stable peace,’" the nonprofit reported. It added that the poster quotes a verse from the Quran that reads, "Strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah."

"This is a call to jihad, inviting believers to donate their money and sacrifice their lives," MEMRI said. "The poster lends religious legitimacy to assassinating Trump."

This is a serious concern.

Hol posted this thread here Secret Service failed to discipline agent at the heart of security breakdown in Trump assassination attempt, report finds regarding the fact that the Secret Service STILL hasn't cleaned up their act after the attempt on Trump a year ago while on the campaign trail.

Then there were the other near misses all while the Secret Service KNEW of an Iranian plot, back then, on a former President (who is supposed to have protection as far as I know) and running for President again.

INEXCUSABLE!

Hoping AND PRAYING that Iran doesn't succeed. And for the Secret Service to get back to their core mission, to protect the current President and all past Presidents. NOR should they be acting on their own ideas of who is fit to be President which seems to be happening too. If they are truly unable to find the obvious incompetence staring them in the face from that near fatal attempt last year then they are too compromised to be effective.
